Listening in the van.

On the road with Cuddle Magic. Driving through Tennessee. Listening to beautiful and clever new records by Anais Mitchell, Joy Kills Sorrow, and Noam Weinstein … and a great CD full of mp3s of Somali pop music given to me by a generous cabdriver in Boston.

Full Disclosure:

I’ll have the privilege of playing with Noam at his CD release at the Living Room on Feb 29. And I’ll have played on the day before, June 28, with Anais at Joe’s Pub. Not only that, but Cuddle Magic is planning a whole series of dates with Anais in April, for which we’ll help her realize “Young Man in America” live.

No Somali gigs yet, but I’ll be ready when it happens.
